EOBA Schedule
Congratulations to the Whitby Canadians who beat the Kawartha Cubs 8-6 in the finals to win the 2023 EOBA. The Canadians, along with the Quinte Royals will represent the EOBA at the Ontario Baseball Championships to be held in Quinte on Sept 1-3 2023.
EOBA 5.2.4 For three (3) or more teams at the same classification level: They will be playing a double knock out tournament format. All games are 7 innings in length with a 2-hour no new inning time limit, and OBA mercy rules still apply. If a game is tied after 7 innings or after the 2-hour no new inning time limit, then the game will continue until there is a winner. Note: the final game (Championship game) will be 7 innings in length with no time limit, and OBA mercy rules still apply. The winner of the Double Knock Out Tournament will go to the OBA’s as EOBA T1.
*** also the new rules apply regarding ‘extra innings’ – if the game is tied at 2hr time limit – regardless of inning the ‘extra innings’ starts with a player (last out) at second.
Highest seed is home team for every game. Pitch count must be entered into app within 15mins of game completion. Home team is official scorekeepr. Visitors are ofical pitch count.
